Marcus is an owner and artist at the color studio. Marcus is truly a haircolor expert, as a technical educator for a haircolor manufacturer. He brings to our team, a mathematical and strategic approach to getting the color results clients have been trying to achieve. With a growing clientele, and a passion for getting things right, Marcus is an important part of our team. Marcus is also certified in the newest extension technique.
Kristin Chamness
Kristin is an artist at the color studio. After finishing four years in the Coast Guard and beauty school in Virginia Beach, Kristin joined our team with incredible passion and drive. Kristin has an eye for fashion and modern classic style. She is the future and the now of the color studio team. With commitment and knowledge, Kristin is filling her appointments quickly. Kristin has worked on film and photo shoots. Kristin has also continued her education by attending classes on her own. She is also certified in a new hair extension technique.
Tonya Higgins
Tonya is an artist from Jacksonville Alabama. She attended New Beginings College of Cosmetology and currently lives in Albertville AL. She has had had a passion for the beauty and hair industry her whole life. Tonya has mastered a wide range of techniques in haircutting, formal styles, makeup, and styling. However her passion is color and staying updated on all the latest cutting edge fashion trends to give her clients the look they want. She believes in continual education and strives to be at the forefront of her field with knowledge and creativity to provide excellent service to her clientel. Tonya is very professional and a perfectionist when it come to her artistic freedom and looks forward to giving her clients at J Curtis Color Studio & Salon nothing but her absolute best!
